本計畫為內政部營建署(現為國土管理署)委託之生態檢核計畫，其工作範圍為其自行營運的中正路污水處理廠。為減輕廠區功能提升工程對生態環境造成的負面影響、維護生物多樣性資源與棲地環境品質，針對廠區進行哺乳類、鳥類、植物調查，並將迴避、縮小、減輕、補償等生態保育措施納入後續設計及施工階段，以避免過度影響原有生態。
The project is the ecological check plan commissioned by the Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior (now the National Land Management Agency, Ministry of the Interior), and its scope covers the Zhongzheng Road Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is independently operated by the agency. To mitigate the negative impacts of the plant's functional enhancement project on the ecological environment, and to maintain biodiversity resources and habitat environmental quality, surveys on mammals, birds, and plants will be conducted within the plant area. Furthermore, ecological conservation measures, including avoidance, minimization, mitigation, and compensation, will be incorporated into the subsequent design and construction stages to prevent excessive impact on the original ecology.
