INRAE groups its collections of yeast, filamentous fungi, human and animal pathogenic bacteria, and food and plant associated bacteria into five sites which together make up the International Centre for Microbial Resources (CIRM). The CIRM-Levures biological resource centre (BRC) is dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of yeast biodiversity.
